My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YaYa is one of the most ridiculous looking and easy dogs you'll ever meet. She's a snuggly croissant with thick thighs and a wiggly potato body. She loves sunshine, snacks, and napping. She farts when she's nervous. She patrols the yard for squirrels by puffing out her chest and propelling her jacked body around on short legs that are attached to giant white clown feet.

YaYa is super wiggly. She doesn't just wag her tail - her entire absurd looking body goes along with it. The only thing on her body that doesn't wiggle is her ears because, well, you know. They gone.

She’s built like a power lifter, but she's a cuddly mush. In her sleep, she dances like no one's watching and snores like no one's listening. One time, she fell asleep on my neck and I almost couldn't breathe, but it was so cute that I decided to accept my fate and die if needed.

She can easily spend the entire day in her crate while you're at work, snoozing away, and won't have an accident. In fact, she hasn't had one single accident in her foster home.

YaYa LOVES people, but she does not have separation anxiety. At all. Sometimes when I get home she still doesn't even want to come out of her crate. Unless it's dinner time. Then you get to be a spectator at the Hippo Olympics, where YaYa always wins gold and you're sure to enjoy her attempts at running and jumping.

As you've probably figured out by now, her energy level is pretty low and she's perfectly content cuddling with you on the couch for as long as you'll let her.

YaYa doesn't enjoy the company of other animals, and can be reactive to other dogs on walks - but she's made enormous strides since she moved out of the city and into the suburbs. She does enjoy going for walks though, and they don't need to be long ones. We do think she will be happiest in a suburban home with a fenced-in yard. And no other pets. But trust us - one cuddle session with YaYa and you'll never want to cuddle with any other dog ever again.
