My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Alex! I am a big boy who is full of love and snuggles. At 7 years old, I’ve led a good life as a single kitty and I need to continue that arrangement.
**I do not like other animals** but I love my adult humans! (Sorry, but I am not a good fit with small children.) My former human had to give me up due to a devastating medical diagnosis, so Habitat 4 Paws is going to find me another great home with adults of my own where I will be the only pet. If you are lucky enough to adopt me, you must be committed to my being a single pet.
I am completely healthy, neutered, declawed and microchipped. I could stand to lose a pound or two, so my future family can help with that. I don’t beg for food, so I just need a more consistent and monitored feeding schedule.
When not napping in a sunny spot, I follow my foster family around to see what they're doing. I love my toys and am happy playing by myself, but of course it’s so much better when my foster family plays with me. I love hanging out in my cat tree to watch the birds out the window.
I am very affectionate with my adult humans, sitting in laps, snuggling in bed and communicating with little chirps and grunts. If I think you’re not petting me enough, I may chirp at you and nip your arm so you get back to work petting me!
