Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Destin is a 3 year-old big boi who enjoys snuggles, going for walks, and PLAYTIME! This over-sized puppy is nearly 90 lbs of muscle and love. He's described by some of his favorite volunteers as a huge dog who is simply excited about life. He loves to run zoomies in the play yards, and will never turn down a game of fetch. He's a great leash walker, as he's been training with our behavior team, especially when using a transitional lead (we can show you how to use it, too!).
Staff and volunteers who work with Destin say he is such a good boy, and when he's not begging to go on walks, he really just wants to cuddle. He's young and energetic, and would be perfect for an active person who enjoys hiking or running, and can give Destin lots of mental and physical stimulation.
Destin is reactive toward other dogs, and would be best in a single-dog home. He needs an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs, and can handle his size and strength. It's hard not to love him though, when he shows you his soft side - his squishy face and big ol' paws are simply irresistible!
Destin and leash walking. Neighborhood walks Destin can be gentle or full of energy. An extremely stout walker that requires restraint based on seeing squirrels, etc. All in all, Destin is starting to learn about neighborhood life as a dog. This loving dog has so much potential. He loves to cuddle and receive belly rubs after going on walks.
He appears to be a gentle dog with young kids in our neighborhood. He has occasional energy burst playing with his toys then tends to settle down. Destin is reactive to thunderstorms and tends to seek cover under a table. Overall, he is a friendly dog that likes attention and enjoys being near when watching tv and or reading.
