Meet Glen, a remarkable 6 year and 9 month old, mixed breed weighing 27 pounds, with a heart as big as Texas. Glen's journey brought him to Camo Rescue's Houston facility in 2021, where he has been a beloved resident ever since.
Glen is a dog full of love and energy, always ready for an adventure outdoors. His favorite activities include running around outdoors, splashing in water, and exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings. He's potty trained and does good with leash walking.
While Glen is a loving dog once he warms up to you. He comes with some challenges that require experienced handling. Glen is very kennel aggressive and doesn't appreciate correction. He struggles most during meal times as he resource guards his food. Glen's forever family would need to be understanding and capable of ensuring meal times are as safe and comfortable as possible for everyone involved. Despite these behaviors, Glen is deeply affectionate and fiercely loyal to those he trusts.
For Glen to thrive, he would do best in an adult-only home where he can be the only dog, ensuring he receives the focused attention and structured environment he needs. His forever family must provide a secure and loving atmosphere, along with careful management of his behaviors.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership.
