**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**
Quiet and laid-back, there's just gotta be a couch cushion waiting for a dog like Jetta. All this diva wants is a soft blanket or two, a sunny spot to snooze in, and plenty of love. Jetta is a mature yet young lady at 4 years of age, and while she needs to be an only pet(cats are NOT cool to her, and she doesn't play well with other dogs), she's sure to be just the right amount of sunshine for a special family's life! Excellent for groomings, and gentle on a leash, this classy lady waits for her forever with grace and confidence.

Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org
Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org
Jetta's adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored! She is spayed, current on all major vaccines, and microchipped.
Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis.
Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

How to Adopt from Corridor Rescue
Thank you for choosing to adopt your new family member from us! You are saving a life when you adopt. Our team would be delighted to help you make the right match with the dog or puppy that will best suit your family and lifestyle. The first step is to fill out the adoption application below.
To adopt you must:
• Show a government-issued picture ID
• Be at least 21 years of age
Which dog do I choose?
You can see our adoptable dogs and puppies waiting to meet someone just like you right here. If you find one you love, please put his or her name on your application. Or, if you still aren't sure which dog is right for you, just note “undecided” in that section. Our placement team volunteers will help you meet your match! They'll read over your application and talk to you about which dogs you may want to consider.
What happens after I apply?
After we look over your application, a member of our placement team will talk with you on the phone about the dog you'd like to adopt and tell you more about him or her. Our volunteer may arrange for a home visit to help you ensure you are prepared to meet the dog's needs. If you aren’t local, your home visit will involve taking us on a virtual tour of your home via video or photographs.
How do I get my new dog?
If you are in the Houston area, we encourage you to come to our facility to meet the dogs, or if a dog you are interested in is in a foster home, a meet and greet can be arranged. There is a $200 adoption fee for adult dogs, $250 for puppies under a year old. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have been tested for heartworm disease. Puppies too young to be spayed or neutered are available through our Foster-to-Adopt option. With our Continuing Care program, the adoption fee is waived for some senior and special needs dogs, and an annual stipend for medical care is included.
We adopt throughout the US and Canada. We can assist in arranging travel for your new dog if you aren’t local. The transport fee is $75 - $325, depending on your location and mode of travel. We’ll be happy to discuss that with you.
Every dog adopted from Corridor Rescue comes with our lifetime promise: If, for any reason, you can no longer care for your dog, he or she is always welcome to come back to us.

Corridor Rescue Inc. is an all-breed 501(c)(3) non-profit street dog rescue on a mission of mercy, rescue and awareness -- a mission to save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left to fend for themselves in an area in Houston dubbed the "Corridor of Cruelty." Here, trash and animals are discarded without thought on a regular basis. We're not talking about a handful of animals, but hundreds of animals fighting to simply survive another day.
Founded by one person, Corridor Rescue has grown its team of volunteers, from all walks of life, united in an effort to help this community of orphaned animals in desperate need of help. We work to rescue hard to capture dogs and cats, to rescue and rehabilitate diseased and injured dogs, to facilitate the rescue of animals mainly from the Corridor of Cruelty but also from other areas of Houston, and to educate about spay/neuter and animal cruelty laws.
Success happens on the streets every day, yet we know that our fight is far from over.
