Here's what the humans have to say about me:
June is spicy but secretly sweet. She loves to play hard (literally) but feels safe snuggled near you when it's nap time. She loves to tough it out and wrestle the adult cats in the house. She loves to play rough and tumble with anything she can get her mouth on including hands. So younger children may not be a great idea until she's a bit older and less mouthy. She can also be very vocal and over dramatic. She can make a lot of serious sounding vocal calls even when she's just slightly annoyed. But she is also equally dramatic when she's happy. She loves food and toys and will play with just about anything she can find on the floor, toy or not.
She has grown up with dogs and other cats and does well with tolerant ones. She has not quite learned social cues from other animals so she tends to play pretty rough with them. Other animals she's with need to be tolerant and load back so it doesn't create an issue when she's rough.
She can be nervous in her environments or with new people but adjusts quickly.
Adoption fee for this cat includes FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FELV testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Please fill out our application at https://gkarma.wufoo.com/forms/good-karma-pet-rescue-cat-adoption-screening/ if you are interested in meeting or adopting this cat and we will be in touch right away!

We have a quick but thorough adoption process. We ask you to fill out an application and we will touch base with you by phone. If we feel you are a good fit for the animal you would like to adopt based upon your application, we will want to do a home visit and have you meet the pet. If everything checks out, we will ask that you sign an adoption contract and pay a donation - usually $75 for cats and $150 for dogs. This includes all vetting, spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.
Our contract allows us to come visit you and your new family member after the adoption to make sure everything is going well and your new pet is happy & healthy.

More about this rescue
Good Karma Pet Rescue is a small network of foster homes in South Florida dedicated to providing dogs and cats in need with the love and help they need and deserve.
GK was started in 2011 by Stacey Chen, who decided that she could best provide for her foster animals by starting a rescue that aims for best care rather than high volume. We intend to stay as small as we need to be to ensure that every one of our foster animals is treated with the same care and respect we show our own furry family.
GK is based in Fort Lauderdale and is supported by wonderful, dedicated foster parents throughout the South Florida area. If you are interested in helping to save lives through volunteering, fostering, or adopting, please get in touch with us!
