My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Part of a Bonded Pair!

Meet Esther and Poptart, the dynamic duo you've been waiting for! These two are the perfect match for an active and loving family. Esther and Poptart are a bonded pair of Border Collie mixes who share an unbreakable bond, and they're looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Both Poptart and Esther are high-energy dogs who love to play and run. They are incredibly friendly, sweet, and playful with their human companions. Their love for snuggles is unmatched, and they'll happily shower you with affection and tail wags.
However, it's important to mention that they both have a strong prey drive and are not compatible with other dogs or small animals. They need to be the only pets in the household. Additionally, Esther is quite the jumper, so a yard with a secure and tall fence is essential to keep her safe.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this amazing pair, get ready for endless love, fun, and companionship. Come meet Poptart and Esther today and see for yourself the joy they bring to every moment!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We strive to place all of our rescued dogs in forever homes.

Our adoption process includes an questionnaire to learn more about what you are looking for, a meet and greet with the dog and your pets, a home visit, and an adoption contract.

Our adoption fee is $250 for adults and $350 for puppies. To encourage families to consider bringing in senior dogs to their home, we usually waive or greatly reduce the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

Shadow's Fund was created to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing for seniors and other special needs dogs that often get passed over by the public in shelters. Our goal is to provide those without hope the chance to experience love and joy again.
