Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My name is Archie, and I have a sad story. I am a senior guinea pig (about 5 years old) and I live with my best friend, Bugsy. About a year ago, our owner tried to take us to a vet to be euthanized, they tried to tell the vet that we were very old. The vet was kind and did not do that, instead she contacted the rescue and the rescue lady came to get us. Then we had a foster that did not take very good care of us, so the rescue lady took us back. Our favorite foster mom then had us for awhile and it was so great to be loved and cared for. We were adopted by a family in December. We thought we struck gold. But then in July, the family brought us back to the rescue. And we were not in good condition. I was very thin and I had lost a lot of weight, so did Bugsy, but I was in worse condition than him. The rescue lady and our foster mom cried a lot. But our foster mom gave us all the love and we are better again. Please, we really want a forever home that loves us and takes care of us. That will care for us for the rest of our lives. We are big, fat potatoes and love to lay around and eat. We also like to be held. Please give us a forever home!
