My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Precious Percy is an 8-month old male Siamese mix kitten. He was trapped at the Walmart in Royal Kunia as part of our volunteer-led neighborhood TNR(Trap, Neuter, Return). After he was neutered and microchipped at the Cat Friends clinic on May 28, Precious became “Precious Percy” when we found out he was a boy. One of the volunteers thought that he had potential to be socialized even though he was an older kitten (probably around 4-5 months old then). We decided to try and the rest is Purr-story!

Percy is a sweet, affectionate, and, occasionally, vocal boy. He likes other cats and will try to engage them in play (whether they want to or not 😊). He is especially fond of our cat, Jelly. Percy is now such a lovebug that we call him Purr-cy because of his loud purring! He likes to visit me while I’m sitting in my office chair for pets and snuggles. He also absolutely loves treats and races to jump on the cat tree whenever he hears the tell-tale sound of shaking treats. He enjoys spending supervised time outside. A catio or safe outside space would be perfect for him. He has progressed such a long way from the scared, hissing kitten he was over 3 months ago! Sometimes he can still be shy and skittish if he encounters a new situation or is unsure of a new person. But with time, patience, and understanding, he will continue to thrive as the goofy Purr-cy lovebug he is!

Percy was neutered and microchipped on May 28, 2023. His first visit to the vet was on September 8, 2023. He got a wellness check-up(he’s healthy!), his first FVCRP vaccination, and tested negative for FeLV. He is also up to date on Revolution. Percy was a very good boy in the car and at the vet, even though he was a little scared and shaky. He was soon back to his normal, purring self once we were home.
