My name is Shea and I am 3 years old.
I am currently in a foster home, but my foster mommy has some major health issues, so I need a new foster or adopter ASAP.
I was rescued from the shelter's kill list with minutes to spare.
Volunteers said this about me: Shea is a happy, sweet and energetic boy who loves attention and treats. He exits his kennel fast and easy, sometimes a little pushy. He has high energy when first out, but calms down after getting outside. He likes to walk and play, lots of running in yard, playing fetch and having the zoomies. He walks well on a leash and does not react to other dogs. He is willing to learn and eager to please. He is easy to return to his kennel.
Here's what my rescue said about me: Shea is another beautiful energetic boy. He’s pretty rowdy in the ward, he’s so excited he’ll nip at just about anything he can reach. Once I gave him the toy this stopped mostly. He’s still learning to walk slowly on the leash. For as excited as he gets, he takes treats gently. He let me pet him immediately and didn’t have any visible discomfort with me petting his paws, ears, legs, stomach, face, tail. He’s LOVES treats and already knows sit really well. He met a little dog through the fence and did well. He was interested in her at first but lost interest when she didn’t engage much. He wagged his tail and whined at a similar-sized husky through the fence and seemed eager to meet him.
Here's what my foster mommy says about me: Shea is sweet as can be and calmed down as soon as he got in the crate in the car and fell asleep on his way home. She said he has settled in nicely. He loves toys and has them all over the house. He emptied out 3 toy boxes!
