My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About me:
-Like the goddess, I’m an incredibly intelligent pup! I know all kinds of cool commands like “sit” and “down.”
-I’m energetic, curious, and adventurous. I love to explore new spaces!
-I love puzzles and enrichment activities so I don’t get bored.

Type of home I’m looking for:
-I would thrive in a home with a backyard for me to run and play.
-I’m an acrobat at heart and have been known to jump quite high. I’ll need a 6-ft fence so I don’t fly away!
-My energy can be too much for children. I need to go to an adult-only home.
-I need to go to a cat and small-animal free home.

Notable behavior:
-I get overstimulated easily and need to work on my leash manners.
-I’ve been known to resource guard toys and food from other animals.
-I would thrive with an owner who will set rules and boundaries with me.

I’ve been at SHS for too long. Meet me today!

More about this shelter

Since 1897, the Spokane Humane Society has extended the hand of kindness to stray and unwanted animals in the greater Spokane Area. The Society shelters and cares for companion animals, transfers stray animals from animal control when they are out of space, operates a low-income spay and neuter clinic and educates the public about humane issues and responsible pet care.
