My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is an 11 year old female, spayed Shepherd mix, about 83 pounds with some arthritis and some difficulty walking, but okay for short distances. Stella's human suddenly passed away and she is currently still living in the home, alone, without human contact, except for a professional walker who comes by once a day to feed and walk her.

Stella desperately needs to find her perfect home, for both her physical and emotional well being. She is sad, lonely, and depressed, as well as heartbroken over losing her human sidekick of 10 years.

Overall, she is calm, friendly, and good with people, She has always been the only dog in the house, so introduction to other dogs in a household needs to be done slowly. Behavior with cats is unknown.

Stella does well riding in the car and walking on a leash. She is current on her vaccinations and was just seen by her vet in July.
