Thor has been on quite the journey, and he’s ready to find his forever home with someone who truly understands him. He originally had a home for over two years but was surrendered when a new baby arrived. He did great in his foster home but prefers to be the only pet. When Meowy Matchmakers found him an adopter without other animals, he was so happy—though he may have indulged in a few too many snacks (hence his nickname, Mr. Chonk!).
Unfortunately, that home didn’t work out either because a visiting family member made him very nervous. Now Thor is back in his foster home, safe but still waiting for the perfect person to come along.
Here’s what you need to know about Thor:
🐾 He wants to be the only pet—no other cats, dogs, or roommates with fur!
🐾 He does best in a calm home with no men, as they make him nervous.
🐾 He has severe hip dysplasia, which means he needs daily pain management, a healthy diet, and regular vet visits to keep him feeling his best.
🐾 He’s affectionate, loves having a lap to sit on, and will be a devoted companion to the right person.
