My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Patton!
This handsome boy came to us in May 2023 after staff discovered him abandoned in the shelter's play yard overnight. Patton has spent a good bit of time with us working on some of his behavior and is ready to find his forever home!
Patton would do best in a patient but structured home so he can continue to work on manners and training. Patton has been unfortunately very anxious in the kennel and does not always show the best behind a barrier due to this. He can also be shy at first when meeting new people but has been working hard so he can show everyone how loveable he can be!
With a little time and the help of treats, Patton is a very snuggly dog. He loves giving kisses and hugs and especially enjoys belly rubs! He rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash as well. Patton loves his treats but does prefer to get attention above everything else. Patton will need some continued training with his manner so he can learn that he gets even more love when all four paws stay on the ground! Tough, durable toys are Patton's best friend as he does like to really toss around and chew his toys. He loves relaxing with a chew or treat filled kong when it is time for him to settle down.
Patton will need to be the only animal in his forever home. He has plenty of love to give to make up for it, though! We would also recommend that he does not go to a home with any young children but we will consider potential adopters who have older kids.
Stop by and meet Patton if this boy sounds like a good fit for you!

Patton is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
