My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear!
This handsome pup has been with us for over a whopping 700 days and is still looking for his forever home! Bear would do best in a home with structured routine that he would be able to learn and adapt to. He is a dog that seeks guidance, and would do best with an owner willing to dedicate more time to his training and keeping him active.
Bear does not do well with other dogs and cats and would do best as the only pet in the home. He has done well with older children but may be too rowdy for young kids.
Bear loves to be outside on walks or exploring in the shelter's yards. He has made a lot of progress with his leash walking and does better on a harness opposed to a collar. He is a master at certain tricks, especially when he gets a treat in return! Bear currently knows sit, down, paw, and leave it. He is a very eager to learn dog and would thrive in a home that is planning to keep his brain as active as his body! Bear is a fantastic running and play partner and is always down to hang out with his people. He loves belly rubs and ear scratches and is just a bundle of fun to be around!
If you are interested in Bear, or think he may be a good fit for your home, feel free to stop by and meet him and apply to adopt!

Bear is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
