Curly is a shy, but sweet, brown tabby. She can usually be found curled up in a cat cubby or a box with one of her cat friends. While she is shy, she enjoys gentle cheek and head pets. Curly recently had two mini vacations from the shelter due to back-to-back hurricanes near the shelter. Her hurricane foster reported back to us that while Curly was shy and did hide at first, after a day or two she was more relaxed and loved sitting in a sunny window or laying on the people bed. She let her foster mom give her pets too. Curly is one of our longer residents and we would love to find her a home with a patient human who will go slow with her. It's not required, but we think Curly would do best in a home with another cat she can cuddle with and who would give her some comfort and confidence.
