***Dot, Koney, and Duffy have partially sponsored Nyx`s adoption fee, so she`s ready to find his home for $50.00!***
This adorable girl is a two-year-old, six-pound Domestic Shorthair cat! Nyx is petite and curious, and she likes to explore her space or stare out the window at all the creatures moving about. Nyx is an independent girl who takes a bit of time to open up to people. She would enjoy a home with someone who will dangle feather toys for her and let her be her independent self! Nyx is FeLV-positive, so she would do great in a home where she is the only cat or a home with other FeLV-positive cats! Nyx is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. You can visit her at the shelter Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM!

We strive to ensure a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals and to find each animal a new and prosperous home.
The Babinski Foundation is a private 501c3 animal shelter located in Pequot Lakes, MN. We are a safe place to surrender dogs and cats. We also are a stray drop-off facility for stray cats and dogs.
OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
