Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🍁🍁🍁Are u ready to FALL in love?? Meet our sweet gentleman known as Goober! We believe him to be around 2 years old, and some sort of Retriever mix. When Mr. Goober was found on the streets, he was in pretty poor condition. With a little TLC he’s looking more & more dapper everyday. We named him Goober due to his goofy personality. Mr. Goobs loves his toys, he will hop around and try to entice you to play with him. He is also quite the cuddle bug, closeness is not an issue for him, although he can be somewhat timid with new experiences. He also enjoys all his meals and it’s not overly selective about what you have to offer him. Due to his past, he does not have a lot of training under his belt. He knows some basic commands, but does need to work on things like jumping on people. He’s just starting his new life so that’s to be expected.
A couple key points about Goober -
💥When he was found, he lacked most of his hair. We do not know the cause of this although we assume it was a severe flea allergy reaction. His hair is growing in steadily and we assume it’ll be a longer coat.
💥Goobs gets along with other dogs and cats although we do think his best placement would be with calmer dog.
💥Goober is an active boy and needs an active lifestyle, a fenced in yard would be ideal for him and if that is not possible, he would need to remain on a leash as his recall is not the greatest.
💥Lastly, he some some trauma to some of his front teeth. Due to him still healing at this time we are not putting him through the dental work just yet. Sometime in the near future he’ll need a dental to extract some broken teeth where the roots remain. It is not causing him any medical issues currently. We assume he was hit by something in the face.
