Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jett!
Jett is such a cute, sweet perfect balance of fun and cuddles. She loves playing with dogs and loves being by your side. Jett was found abandoned in a restaurant parking lot when she was just 3 weeks old, so she can get a little nervous if she does not see her people nearby.
She is now 10 weeks old and about 5 lbs.! Don’t let her size fool you, she plays with her 80 lb. fosters siblings and keeps up just fine! She has been around dogs and cats and does well with both. She is great with adults and children. We are looking for a family with a small breed dog as we think she is most comfortable and really comes out of her shell when playing with the smaller pups!
We believe her to be a Yorkshire terrier mix. and estimate her to be under 10 lbs at full maturity. Though she is tiny, she is healthy and full of energy! She loves to run with the other dogs and follow what they do. A perfect day for Jett is lots of playtime outside in the yard playing with her dog siblings and then snuggling up to rest. She does et spooked by loud noises at times and will run to you for reassurance.
She is crate trained and when she get tired she will be ready for you to take her to her crate and tell her good night and she will take a long restful nap.
She is doing great with potty training, but is still very young, so she may have accidents as she learns to let you know she needs to go outside. She was trained on potty pads because she was so young and knows to go to a potty pad but is now learning to go outside as well.
Jett is super smart and is already learning so much! We are working on sit and stay, and she knows where we keep the treats and will sit and wait for one.
She still wants to chew on everything like shoes and toes, so be patient with her as she learns what is a toy and what isn’t. She loves chewing on bones and squeaky, crinkly toys.
This sweet girl would do best in a home with children or another dog . She loves the interaction and lights up when the kids come home from school. She also gets extremely excited to have another little dog to run around with so we definitely want her to have at least one smaller dog in the home.
