Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Zoe!
Zoe is a very petite German Shepherd (only about 21" at shoulders) and weighs 42lbs. She is good with other dogs and gets along great with cats, (even letting them snuggle up and climb on her at night). She will chase them if they run, but she just wants to play!
Zoe has not had the best life so far, she has been passed around the entire 5 years of her life. She has endured a lot of neglect and possible abuse. She does not seem to know any commands, so we are working on that. She is a bit hesitant at first, but with encouragement she is a fast learner and responds well to quiet correction.
She has been good around both kids and adults and loves to take walks and meet new people. She is good on a leash, although she will pull a bit if she sees a squirrel. She walks great with another dog and would benefit in having another dog to look to. This is all new to her, as she did not know how to play with other dogs or even toys when she first came into the rescue. She is now with a foster family (and doggy sibling) that is teaching her these things and allowing her to experience the joys of being a dog.
She loves her people! She would be a great office dog as she loves to settle under your desk while you work. She is not a barker or a chewer, and she is completely housebroken. Zoe loves sleeping with her foster mama and the kitties at night!
She's not much for treats, nor particularly food driven, but she is eating better and slowly gaining some weight. She is still a little underweight and should put on a few more pounds to be at a healthy weight.
She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
Zoe is an absolute sweetheart that loves to give kisses to people, dogs, cats, and whoever else is in licking distance. She is an absolute joy and it's so wonderful to see her playful, funny personality coming out!
