My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lavena! This female pit bull mix puppy was born on May 23rd and is about as sweet as they come! She is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and is doing amazing with both. She is working on her housetraining and crate training and catching on quickly. She's also started leash training :)

Lavena was held back from adoption a little longer than her siblings because she had some issues with her joints. Her x-rays were normal and she has gotten better as she's gotten older, so the vet has every confidence it was just a funky growth situation. But we want to make sure any potential adopter knows that she is still building up muscle on her front legs and may require a joint supplement when she gets a bit older. Otherwise, she has been given a clean bill of health!
