My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever seen a Catahoula Leopard dog? If no then stop by to meet this young guy. We estimate his age at 1.5 yrs as of October and know him to be very handsome and playful. We call him Chocolate Chip given his exotic coat colors.

Meet and greet sessions occur during adoption hours (Tues-Sun 1-4 and Friday 1 -6). ADOPTION INCLUDES: Spay or Neuter, Deworming, Vaccinations (excluding rabies), Microchip, and a free Vet visit at participating offices. Adoption Fees may vary, but our standard fees are: Kittens and Cats $85, Puppies $200 and Dogs $125. We offer Discounts on Senior Animals and Special Needs Animals. We also offer special incentives for Seniors and Military.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please stop by to visit or go to www.thhs.org and fill out an application

The fee for adopting a dog is $125*.
This includes their spay/neuter, first vaccinations (not including rabies), worming, microchip, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, first office visit at participating Veterinary Offices

*Some select animals may have special adoption fees.

The fee for adopting a cat or kitten is $85.00.
This includes their spay/neuter, first vaccination (not including rabies), worming, microchip, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, first office visit at participating Veterinary Offices, one year's membership in the THHS, use of our Dog Park (if you should have a dog).

With an adoption you have the option of having your other pets microchipped for $25. Microchipping is also available to the public for $35 per animal. Micro chipping improves the odds of your lost pet being returned to you! Many homeless animals lose their tags, and since they do not have a pocket for a wallet, they have no way to identify themselves!
