Tocarican (Toca) is ready to steal your heart! And if you need a personal assistant, she’ll be right by your side to help clean, put on your shoes, or check emails - haha! Toca’s foster mom brought this sweet pup home for a weekend and, well, she was such a good girl that she stayed much longer. Toca is a fantastic dog with a wonderful personality. She’ll be a GREAT addition to her loving home. Here’s what we’ve learned about Toca:
- People-friendly
- Dog-friendly
- Crate-trained
- Potty-trained
- Playful!
- Variable energy, needs to run and play, also a champion couch potato and cuddler
- Knows many commands; treat motivated, learns quickly

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
