Here's what the humans have to say about me:
OTIS-“A GENIUNE CUDDLER” LOVES CAR RIDES and soft blankets! He so far has provided the foster home with lots of cuddles and “asks for more” when you stop petting! He likes the neighbor dog; and is not overprotective over food. Although Otis knows a lot of basic commands, he’s still wanting to play, play, play so may need some help with “off”. He doesn't like getting his paws wet! (funny fact)
The ideal adopter would be one that doesn’t mind Otis checking on your whereabouts to make sure you are okay and can work with Otis on puppy-swats that could be a little rough! This is a great boy and needs the love and attention of an owner who will spend cuddly time with him. He wants to prove to you that he is a good boy and listens well! Otis seems to prefer women. He is nervous around men on first meetings; and can be nervous around young children. Otis does not appear to trust men. Once he realizes that the man is not a threat; he is happy and comfortable. The foster home has noticed some separation anxiety so there will need to be a plan from the adoptive owner of how to handle this. Otis loves car rides! Previous owner had a cat; but foster home has not observed him around cats currently. Fun fact is that Otis likes to watch TV! He will see a dog onscreen, and look for the dog! He is more confident and sure of himself! He is very protective of the yard or whenever a man or unknown person is nearby. Otis may need to see a dermatologist.
