Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Roshan the brother of Akari. Not very much about their early history is truly known, they were surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society on Aug 2 of this year and on Aug 7 they made the transport together in a tiny grey carrier to Tucson along with an estimated 316 other small animals. (If you are unfamiliar with this controversial story please google for information). Upon arriving in Tucson, they were then transported to an unknown location in the Phoenix area in the same tiny gray and white carrier which, we are guessing, they then lived in for almost a month. No wheel. Not very much bedding. No hide houses or toys. No space! Their existence must have been on the bleak side; maybe they were forgotten while the folks who had them concerned themselves with the bigger animals.
On September 2 they returned to the Humane Society in Tucson, in that same grey carrier and on September 3rd they were admitted into Home Sweet Hammy Home and given 2 fully enriched bin cages. See our social media pages for videos during intake. These brothers live separately now and are loving life as bachelor's in their own cages.
