My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.

ADOPTED!!

This pretty girl is PETUNIA and she is 18 months old and 20 pounds.  She is a very calm, loving yet playful little girl.  She was dumped on a bad side of town with her friend PANSY (long hair chihuahua).  PANSY was very pregnant and gave birth to 7 puppies 10 days after I brought them home.

PETUNIA is a tri-pod who runs and plays and does not miss her leg.  We think she was hit by a car and the bad leg was just dead weight.  She is calming and very loving, she gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home big and small, she is crate and potty trained.  I really like her temperament as she is just mellow and kind, she follows directions well.  There is no daily maintenance for her, just feed and love her and let her out to potty.
I have a 120 pound female Rottweiler that PETUNIA loves to lay on and play with the toys with.  She will need to be groomed about every 2-3 months.  Her hair does not grow fast.

If you are interested in PETUNIA please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you,

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED

Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.

We transport across the United States.

Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.
