MEET SIMBA!

This handsome medium-haired orange tabby is named Simba! At 13 years old, Simba's owner passed away and he lost the only home he'd ever known. He was fortunate enough to bypass the shelter-system and came right to the rescue instead.

In addition to being oh so handsome with his fluffy tail and nose freckles, Simba also has a great personality! He's the sweetest and most sensitive boy! He loves attention and will make little biscuits with his paws while purring like a motor boat. He's very chatty and will happily greet you at the door and remind you of when it's dinner time, just in case you forget. He's definitely not too old to chase around a cat toy either! Simba is currently living with other friendly cats who he gets along with nicely. He's also living with dogs and while he tolerates them, he'd probably be happiest in a home without them.

Simba took a little while to settle into his new foster home (understandably) since he has never lived in any other home and spent some time hiding, but now that he's settled and feeling more confident, he's happy to explore the home and make himself comfortable wherever he pleases. Simba has a history of overgrooming when stressed. We do expect him to need some time to adjust to his future home and that a more quiet home would be ideal for him, since that's what he's most used to.

Simba is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. He has been fully vetted and has gotten a clean bill of health! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
