My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Slim, a senior cat whose heart is breaking from waiting so long for a home.

Every day, Slim curls up in his condo, looking like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. At 10 years old, all Slim has ever dreamed of is having a family. But everything changed when a kind-hearted human found him and brought him to the safety of the shelter.

Now, Slim waits for his second chance — a chance to be loved and cherished. Despite his years, Slim still has plenty of energy and needs a home where he can be the only pet, enjoying all the attention and affection he never had before. He loves to play, and with a little room to stretch his legs and a few enrichment toys, he’ll show you that he still has a spark of kitten in him. But more than anything, Slim just wants someone to love.

Could you be the one to give him the family he’s been dreaming of all his life? Please contact the shelter or stop in any day of the week between 12 and 4 pm to apply for him. The day he is adopted by his forever person will be the best day of his life.
