My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My daughter, who is Axel’s owner, lost her job, and subsequently her apartment in Winston-Salem. She had to move her and Axel home with us. We already had two dogs and a cat and take care of my sister who has Alzheimer’s and 2 grandsons with Autism. Unfortunately we have don’t have enough room to keep him, and his presence has been triggering to my sister, grandsons, and the other pets.

Axel is a puppy that loves to love on you and to be loved on. He is very energetic and loves to be around people. Because of his size, age and energy level, he should go through training before he is allowed to be around children unsupervised. It’s best if he is the sole pet of the house, or with an adopter who has experience training dogs on reactivity.
