Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Peyton is a 15-lb bundle of happy! A smart, healthy 10-month-old pup with long legs and beautiful white teeth. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. The vet said he's one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had. Peyton is a little larger than he looks in the photos, and he's a bit underweight at 15 lbs; I think his ideal weight would be around 18-20 lbs (he's eating great so he'll be there soon).
When Peyton arrived at the shelter, poor baby was full of stickers and foxtails (even between his toes--ouch!), and his hair was so tangled and matted he had to be shaved nekkid. So although he is not his usual fluffy self right now, I'm sure he feels so much better! And you can tell he's going to be one gorgeous fluff when his hair grows back.
Peyton is affectionate, lively, playful, and gives LOTS of kisses. Oh those kisses.... this little guy has been saving up his puppy kisses for a very long time because he sure has lots to give. He gets along with everyone and loves to play with other little dogs. He also loves to run and jump, and would do very well in agility training. He will chase cats, but only because he wants to play with them (he'll do his best play bow, bark to get their attention, and try to look as fun and adorable as possible... please please please play with me!). He doesn't understand why they just stare at him and hiss.
He loves to go for walks, and he rides well in the car (although he doesn't like to be in a crate). He's also very content to just lie next to you for a belly rub. Peyton is a very sweet and loving little guy who just wants to be with his human, as all bichons do.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Peyton, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.
