My story

Jak Daniels

Hi I’m Jak, I started my life in a rural shelter so I’m still getting used to the finer things in life like a comfy bed and fun toys.

I am a very sweet and loving boy who needs a family who will be patient as I grow in confidence. I am very shy at first but the right family will bring out my confidence and help me adjust.

I LOVE chewing on bones and playing with toys. Although I am a little unsure of the great outdoors, I walk really well on a leash if we walk slow and get used to all the new noises and smells.

I do great with kids and other dogs. I am still adjusting to this new life outside of the shelter but so far I’m loving all the attention from my humans and spending time sunbathing in the yard.

Jak would make a great addition to any family who has the patience to bring him out of his shell and show him what being a dog really is!
