Picasso is a 4-month-old black/tan male puppy with a moderate energy level. He came into a local shelter as a stray, so nothing is known of his background.

He is outgoing and friendly with people. He has tried out his protective instincts by barking at new things in the dark, but quickly investigated to get acquainted. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home, and he ignores the cats.

He is a little anxious about being left alone or crated, but is getting more comfortable with it every day. Indoors he is usually at his foster mom's side, quietly enjoying a dog toy at her feet or following her from room to room. He gets some time outdoors alone, and is usually found lounging under a shade tree, waiting for the door to open.

He is sleeping through the night in a crate, and is getting the idea of housebreaking. He's also making progress on leash manners. He's a sweet boy that will make a great pet for a home with time to continue his training.
