My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nova is a 2 year old Flat-Coated Retriever that is approximately 60lbs. Her previous owner passed away and she is looking for a new family. She is sweet as can be. She is a very calm dog inside who wants to stick by her people for pets and cuddles. She can also be incredibly playful when given the opportunity.

Not having been exposed to much in her life, she is still a bit nervous around new people and tense around new dogs. Has improved quickly in a week in her foster home and will gain confidence over time. She is already going up to new people and dogs.

Nova has excelled at leash training and has proven to be a great hiking buddy. She is house trained and knows some basic commands. She is still working on her crate training and is starting to learn that she will not be abandoned again.

Nova will do best in a family who is willing to take the time to show her the ropes and to expose her to all that life has to offer. With repetition and love, she will be an amazing partner in crime!
