My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, friends! If you’re looking for a new lovely lady in your life then look no further! My name is Lucy, and I am a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever Mix who weighs 25.7 pounds. 

My favorite thing to do is give lots of love and affection. I am not a high-energy pooch and am described as very easy going. The couch is my best friend. I love to lounge around, especially in my human’s lap on the couch. I like to chew on my bones and am learning to play with my canine foster sibling. Typically, I take a little bit of time to warm up to my canine friends, but once I have I do very well with them.

My foster mama is happy to report that I am making great progress on my house training. As long as I stay on a schedule, I don’t have any accidents within the home. One thing I really adore about my foster home is the children in it. I get so excited to have them around. I do jump up to greet them, but once I have given them all of my love and adoration I settle down nicely to receive lots of pets. 

My foster family thinks that I would do well in just about any environment. I can’t wait to meet you and shower you with all of my Lucy love!

Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
