Meet the Pet
This helps Forgotten Dogs Rescue with pet care costs.
Hattie is looking her forever home! This frosted face senior girl is the sweetest, calmest, and most loving pup you'll ever meet!
Hattie’s absolute favorite thing is being with her people. She gets so excited about affection that she’ll do the most adorable little hop with her front feet! Sitting in laps and being pet all day is her dream life. She would love a forever home that will appreciate her low activity level and where she can be with her humans most of the time.
Hattie adores her daily walks and while she's slowing down, she loves going on sniffari strolls. She is a dream on a leash!
Hattie generally doesn’t mind other dogs, but she does LOVE her people and sometimes isn’t fond of other dogs stealing attention from her. She could be in a home with a mellow canine companion with proper introductions and plenty of love and affection to go around. She has not been cat tested, so we don’t know how she would do in a home with kitties.
Hattie is house trained, crate trained, and is a well behaved lady. She's not interested in toys or chews but finds joy in making her bed and using her nose to nudge you to communicate. She also loves blankets and being comfy.
Hattie is about 14 years old, is a Pit Bull type dog, and currently weighs 58 pounds. Hattie has arthritis so would do best in a home without a lot of stairs and she is on daily meds to keep her comfortable, as well as meds for her thyroid and a liver supplement.
If you're ready for a sweet, loving and gentle companion, Hattie is waiting to fill your days with endless love and gratitude! Fill out an adoption application at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application.
Hattie’s adoption fee is $450 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
