Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you ready to make a huge difference in a pair of kitties' lives? Meet Doc and Clyde! These two adorable tabby brothers were found struggling to survive outside. They've come a long way and are so ready for a family of their own!
Both boys are handsome tabbies with neat white vests and socks. Doc is the one with the white chin and just a little white mustache.
He's blossomed into a total Kitty Admin, which means he loves to help his humans around the house! He will follow you around and supervise you with your daily chores, and might even give you a gentle squeak of encouragement if he thinks you're doing a good job. Once he gets to know you, he loves being picked up for snuggles.
At times, Doc likes to just lay somewhere high on his back and watch the world go by, upside down, it's honesty the best perspective.
Clyde has the fully white mask and lets Doc pave the way with new people, a Funny Valentine at first. Once Doc shows him you're a nice human, he'll be right behind him with headbonks and purrs. He gets his confidence from his brother and loves to play and cuddle with him too.
They both come running to their names when their favorite people come into the room, ready to spread the love. Like any young cats, playtime is their favorite time of the day! They love any kitty wand that you're on the other end of, letting them leap and pounce to their heart's delight.
Both boys are smart and inquisitive. They both know how to Sit Pretty and do High Fives, courtesy of our volunteer behavior team.
Once playtime is over, they're happy to settle down next to you for snuggles, perfect little Sidecar Cats as you can see. We expect them to get even more affectionate once they learn what it's like to live with a family who loves them for who they are.
Doc & Clyde have lived at Happy Cats for many months and will need at least 1 month in their Safe Room, a quiet space to learn to trust and love their new family. They will do best in a home without small children or dogs, but may be OK with another nice cat or two to help show them the ropes of family life.
As TLC cats, they come with a kit to help you support them while they become the lovable companions we know they can be. This includes a home installation with suggestions for low stress handling and confidence building, a top/side loading carrier per kitty, their favorite toys & bedding, their usual food & litter starter kit and professional behavioral counseling if needed.
Both boys are about a year old and can be adopted together for $120 which also includes their neuters, vaccinations, microchips and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
