My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please note: Our beautiful Joy does require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, no chain-link or split rail.

Meet Joy, my lovely, sweet, loving girl Joy
Her 'Meet Your Match' designation is: Teacher’s Pet -
I’ve got the whole package — smart, four legs, love to learn, and live to please. Go ahead, teach me anything. Sit, stay, and balance your checkbook, I can do it all. Keep me entertained and I’ll be yours forever.

Joy lives up to her name as she is always joyful, so very happy that now she lives with people who love her & now she feels safe. She had litter after litter in WV & I would say her previous life was that of pure neglect. She is about young & about 60 lbs (she's gained 10 lbs since she joined the rescue) & I have her listed as a Lab/Antalion Sheperd mix. Her coat has so many shades of gold & yellow, she is really stunning, expecially in the sun!

When it comes to people, she's indiscriminate with her affection. Joy doesn't believe in strangers, she's ready to shower everyone with love. I love how when you are close, she leans into you gently, offering a soulful gaze of absolute adoration. She is also very intelligent, it seems that when I look at her sometimes I can see her thinking!

This tall, lanky and I think very regal looking young lady is a bundle of love wrapped in a desire for attention. With her keen senses, she thoroughly enjoys walks where she can indulge in the various scents around her. Her trust, which is quickly earned, is as solid as a rock, and with it, she's game to explore and try out anything.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who looks at you like you're the center of her universe and is eager to be a part of every adventure, then Joy is the young girl for you! Don't miss a chance to make Joy a part of your family. Read our adoption requirements & if you can meet them you can apply for her right here at our website. Come & meet her and get ready to be greeted with boundless enthusiasm and love!

We accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and All Credit Cards for the adoption fee.

LnF Dog Rescue

All pups/dogs are already spayed/neutered, live in foster homes, are housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date with all shots, & microchipped & have 30 days of FREE Pet Insurance.

Most importantly they all have sweet & gentle dispositions & get along with other dogs.

You must have current vet references & must have raised a dog or pup as an adult.

~ We require experienced pet owners only unless the dog is listed as "suitable for first time pet guardian" ~

~ A fence is always mandatory and must be installed.
We will not consider any applications that do not have an installed fence.

We do NOT accept ANY type of electric or underground fence. *** There are no exceptions ***

We only accept a physical fence 4 foot or higher. Some dogs require a higher fence & that is noted in their profile.

If you are interested in a certain pup/dog, please read each profile to be sure the pup/dog matches your lifestyle. Our strict adoption requirements are based on our years of experience & unless you can meet our minimal adoption requirements .... you will not be approved.

These are not *suggestions* that we will negotiate, these are our requirements to adopt from LnF Dog Rescue.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Since all of our pups/dogs are in foster care, we do require a pre-approved adoption application prior to meeting them in person.
