Here we have "Murphy", a beautiful Persian cat.
Murphy was found in Waterbury. A lady claims that the cat came to her door step.
Murphy is about 4 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. He is a big fluffy boy! Murphy appears to have been well taken care of.
We have a story about Murphy aka "Muffin". We originally thought that Murphy was a girl and we named her "Muffin". We also thought she was already spayed but, when we brought "Muffin" to our veterinarian, our veterinarian discovered "Muffin" had no spay scar so we were planning to have "Muffin" spayed.
Our story continues! Our Director remained mystified that this cat was a girl because of her size and the fact that there was absolutely no spay scar. It was also difficult to determine if this cat was a boy because of its thick fluffy hair. Well, we looked and looked and we found that the cat was actually a boy, thus Murphy aka "Muffin"!
Murphy is such a nice boy, so gentle and so friendly. He went from being a girl to a wonderful lover boy!
Poor Murphy was very nervous when he came to us because he was not used to being with other cats or dogs. Now he is doing fine with the other cats. Murphy is okay with small dogs but he will be more cautious with big dogs.
While Murphy was at our veterinarian he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. Also, our veterinarian discovered that Murphy is microchipped but he is not registered.
We are looking for the right home with someone who loves Persians and who will brush Murphy every day. That is a must! In Murphy's new home, children must be 6 years old or older.
To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules.
The adoption fee for Murphy is $300.00. No credit cards.
