Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Location: West Columbia, SC
Name: Blake
Age: 1 year (DOB: 12/27/22)
Breed: DSH - 15 lbs
M/F: M
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & fvrcp; neutered
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: all of the above but normally isn’t a fan of being carrier around
Reason for rehoming?: mom was rescued and gave birth a couple days later to this guy and his brother; they were adopted and returned due to no fault of their own
Additional info/story (personality):
Very sweet once adjusted but shy at first! They were raised inside from birth but adopted their mom’s personality who simply is just more introverted. He is fine with getting pets and scritches and he likes playing with toys and other cats, just not the biggest fan of being held, and takes a bit to come out of his shell.
Message/email if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

We are foster based only at this time.
Meet and greets for dogs must be scheduled in advance.
Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
