Handsome Bear has been with us just about 1 year and is now around 7 1/2 yrs old. Since coming to us he has learned a new life of rules, which he never had, but he is still not a fan of certain things and those are taken into consideration when searching for this forever home. He cannot walk properly on leash so a secure fenced in yard is a must for him. He also needs a kitty free home as he is not a fan. And lastly, he has seperation anxiety and would need a person who is home more than not. He loves to be near his person and he is good with most other dogs. He will need a slow introduction to set him up for success and adjust to his new home! We know the right home IS out there and we are patient that we know he will find it.
All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.
Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
