My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baloo!

He's a lovable and energetic pup eagerly searching for his forever family! This extroverted young dog thrives on long walks, play dates, and fun times at the dog park. At home, Baloo enjoys cuddling, figuring out how to get treats out of his Kong, practicing commands, and taking long naps. He's very smart, having made substantial progress in learning basic commands and household routines.

Baloo has adapted well to crate training and happily goes in for treats. While he can be a bit nervous around men, with patience and treats, he quickly warms up to anything. He's also a great watchdog, always alerting you to people or pets outside.

Baloo would thrive in a more active home filled with love and affection. He's made remarkable progress since undergoing heartworm treatment, especially in obedience and leash walking, and he continues to work on his excitement while walking on leash. If you're ready to welcome a smart, affectionate, and active companion into your life, Baloo is the perfect match!

Baloo is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. If you are interested in learning more or meeting Baloo, please complete an adoption survey using the link below:
