PA Kennel License #5254Wags RescueSouthampton Pa 18966 8/17/24 Kelce has been living the dream since October 2023. Since then, we have discovered Kelce loves every person she meets (not so much every dog, or kiddos under 10); you can't escape the lean - she'll lean in, or sit on you, so you can't stop petting or scratching her belly; she is strong on the leash simply because she can't wait to get to the next block; and LOVES car rides, and a good game of keep away, but she's doing the keep away! 10/20/23 Kelce, a Wags alumna from 2017, was sadly returned to us when her human family started to grow. As a young pup, Kelce was adopted by a couple that did not have children at the time. As Kelce's family began to grow, they say she became anxious and nervous around the babies. So, they made the difficult decision to return Kelce so she could find the perfect family that fits her quirkiness. Happy to report, after a few days with her fosters, and no longer searching for her humans, Kelce started warming up to and playing with resident dogs. Kelce is a lab mix; up to date with her vaccines; weighs 75# (though we are working on losing a few with long walks); walks well on the leash (though is dying to catch a squirrel!); spayed; and starves for attention. This big girl would be best suited in a family with older children or no children. Do you have room on your couch for Kelce to curl up next to you at the end of the day? 9/12/23 Kelce is a 5 year old lab mix who was living the life until after 5 years her people brought one of those tiny things home that smells like baby powder and cries a lot at night. I just would prefer a home with out such creatures. I am well behaved and a terrific dog. Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.
