Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luke: How Could They Stop Loving Me?
EMERGENCY! Luke needs a new foster home by Sunday! His foster mom is leaving town, all our foster homes are full, and boarding is our only option. Being put back in a cage would break this sweet boy’s heart. PLEASE talk to Laura about fostering this special boy—or adopting him as your very own!
When I first met Luke in his kennel at the police station, he was in a panic.
Luke is so perfectly house-trained that he couldn’t bear the thought of having an accident—not even at the kennel, where all dogs do! He made a mad dash for the nearest tree (dragging me behind him).
Then, Luke got down to the important business of kissing me wildly—before settling in for a long snuggle with his head in my lap. With his heart pounding, he arrived at his foster home still wondering what would happen next. An hour later, his foster mom called me with the good news. “He finally feels safe,” she said. “He’s sound asleep with his head in my lap. He’s a totally different dog!”
Found wandering the streets, Luke clearly misses his family and continues to look for them. So why haven’t they come to look for him? This special dog is an “old soul.” He’s a sensitive boy who craves human contact and needs someone to take him in their arms and make him believe that everything will be alright. Are you that special someone?
