Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carmella This gal is eight years young. She came from a rural area in Colorado. She was dropped at the shelter with her babies. All the puppies were adopted but no one came for Carm. From what we can gather, she hasn't spent a lot of time inside a home. Sounds from the TV and the icemaker can be unnerving. She has acclimated well in her foster home. She spends a lot of time napping in the back bedroom of her foster house. When she's not napping she's hunting for squirrels and rabbits in the backyard. She plays well with all of the dogs and does great with new pack members arriving. Carm understands how to use a dog door. She loads and rides well in the car. She walks great on a leash and enjoys exploring the neighborhood while with her foster pack. She’s in good health, spayed and up to date on vaccines. She rarely barks unless she has spotted a squirrel. She will take advantage of an unattended door and dart out. She must have a secured six foot fenced backyard that is locked. Carm needs a quiet home where people will show love and affection while allowing her time to decompress. She's seen some stuff in her lifetime. Only kind humans looking to spoil her should apply. No young children as their loud voices and quick movements scare her. Carmella is currently pre scheduled for a full dental cleaning with potential extractions.
