Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Otis is a happy go lucky guy, and he doesn't let anything get him down. Even after landing at the local pound he was ready to move past his previous family dumping him, and has never met a stranger. Do you want to meet him and see all this love? Otis is 75 pounds and less than 2 years old, so he is very strong and energetic, and loves to play. His ideal human will be committed to him and will help work through his puppy years with gentle guidance and compassion. He's still looking to chew on things, including toys, balls, and bones, and asks that his human make sure there are plenty of designated chew options for him. If you want to be Otis's friend, please be willing to walk him every single day, because a tired hound is well behaved hound! If you already have a canine buddy, that's great, because Otis really needs a canine companion that will play with him and show him the ropes on how to be a good dog! At home, Otis is a big marshmallow and loves his humans. He needs a secured six-foot fenced back yard. Apartment style or town house living probably won't be the right fit because he does howl. Not obsessively, but why piss off your neighbors?! Otis is learning basic commands. He's eager to please and is treat motivated. This gorgeous hound is being fostered in Aurora, Colorado.
