Lloyd came from a small rural shelter that was 1/3 over capacity (room for 22 but they had 30 dogs!) The volunteers the shelter put out a special plea for him (and his brother Harry and Parker, too), because his time was up. They had kept Lloyd safe for a long time but given the number of dogs the small shelter had, they could no longer keep Lloyd (or Harry or Parker) safe. They were heartbroken that after all this time, his life would end at the shelter. Lloyd loves to snuggle with people. He looks up at you with those beautiful brown eyes and before you know it you are sweet talking him! Lloyd and Harry came in together and they were kept in the same run at the shelter, but they are not a bonded pair so they can be adopted separately. If you are looking for two dogs they do great together they play together, are both happy go lucky guys who love other dogs. Lloyd would fit great into a home with or without other dogs as he is very agreeable and happy to please. Lloyd is all a hound lover would look for in a hound! if you are interested in meeting him please let us know. Thank you for your interest in Lloyd! Please visit
