Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Ethan, the resilient and charming 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who's ready to find his forever family. At 40 pounds, Ethan may carry a bit of a unique story, but his heart is as big as they come.
Ethan's journey began when he joined our rescue as a puppy after suffering head trauma. While this unfortunate incident left him with some neurological quirks, it's important to note that he leads a mostly normal life with just a touch of extra character. He's a trooper, and his quirks are just part of what makes him special.
Ethan is no stranger to love and family life. He was previously adopted by a caring family, but due to unforeseen circumstances involving a sick child who required extended travel for treatment, he's back with us, patiently awaiting his second chance at a forever home.
One of Ethan's standout qualities is his love for children. He adores their company and would thrive in a home with kids. This sweet boy is house and kennel trained, making him a well-behaved and dependable companion.
When it comes to furry friends, Ethan is a social butterfly. He loves to play with other dogs, regardless of their size. He has a unique way of initiating play with a cute little "dance" that's sure to bring a smile to your face. His favorite activities include wrestling and playing tug-of-war over his cherished toy. We're hoping to find him a loving home with a dog friend who can understand and respond to his playful cues. As for cats, we're unsure how Ethan would react, so a gradual introduction may be necessary.
After a day of fun and games, Ethan loves nothing more than to snuggle up with his family on the couch. He craves human companionship and is happiest when he's right by your side.
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion who's as unique as they come, Ethan might be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet him and let his charm and quirks win you over – he's ready to steal your heart!
He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, and microchipped.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
