My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Michael may look huge but don`t let his big size fool you. He`s a big soft teddy bear who loves to play. He walks excellent on leash. His favorite pasttime is to be with you or snuggle on the couch or recliner. He`s a gentle giant who loves everyone he meets.

Feel free to check in with his foster to find out more!

More about this shelter

Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) operates two shelters within the county. The large main shelter in Camarillo houses over 400 pets and the administrative offices. Our smaller facility in Simi Valley houses nearly 40 pets at a time.

Each year, Ventura County Animal Services cares for more than 10,000 animals. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and find life-long homes for as many animals as possible, while providing proper care during their stay.
