Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Joan! She is part of the 80’s musicians litter (Steve (Perry), Rick (Springfield), and Joan (Jett)) to the 4 PAWS family! She came to us after being surrendered to a local Animal Control. Rick is a 13-week-old Lab mix. She is being crate trained, loves other dogs, does well with cats, and does very well with children. Here is what their foster has to say about her:
Joan is very affectionate and loves to snuggle in your lap once tired. She plays well with her siblings but is also drawn to one of my bigger dogs (Dinky). She likes to sit or lay next to her when there's not much going on with her siblings. Joan is a smart little girl who adjusted to her foster home's schedule rather quickly. She is curious about everything and will venture through the yard to check all out. Noises like loud mufflers, neighbors' dogs barking, or people yelling scare her and she will run for shelter, i.e. run to her foster parents for safety. Overall she has a very sweet personality and she'll make a great companion to any human and other pets!
Joan is a puppy and will need time to acclimate to your home and expectations. Her new family needs to understand that she is a lifetime commitment; they must also be committed to daily exercise, continued training, and socialization.
If you are interested in adoption, DO NOT CALL; please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats, and therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest.
