Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Steve! He is part of the 80’s musicians litter (Steve (Perry), Rick (Springfield), and Joan (Jett)) to the 4 PAWS family! He came to us after being surrendered to a local Animal Control. Steve is a 13-week-old Lab mix. He is being crate trained, loves other dogs, does well with cats, and does very well with children. Here is what their foster has to say about him:
Steve is a very loving pup who loves to be by his human’s side; overall he prefers to constantly be held and snuggled. He plays well with his siblings and does not mind our cat but the majority of the time, when he's not in the baby pool, he's by his foster’s side. He has typical puppy curiosity but scares easily from backfiring mufflers, lawnmowers, and other (big) dogs barking. Like his siblings, he will run for safety when things like that happen. He loves to play tug-o-war or chase toys/tennis balls. His overall temperament reminds me of a typical Labrador: very loving, affectionate, and very easygoing.
Steve is a puppy and will need time to acclimate to your home and expectations. His new family needs to understand that he is a lifetime commitment; they must also be committed to daily exercise, continued training, and socialization.
If you are interested in adoption, DO NOT CALL; please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats, and therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest.
